Marty is one of the industry’s most accomplished and respected international leaders. He was the youngest person to be appointed to ABC’s Board of Directors. Marty held positions of General Manager of the Television Network, VP of the Broadcast Division and President of the Leisure Activities Group. Marty was president of Ziff Corporation for five years until 1982. From 1985, he was an advisor to News Corporation during which time he helped acquire the Metromedia television station group and wrote the business plan for the Fox Television Network. He became EVP of News Corporation, President of News Corporation Eastern and Central Europe, and a member of News Corporation’s Executive Management Committee in 1988. Marty held the position of Chairman of News Corporation, Europe for eight years from 2000. Marty is now is involved in many companies, as an investor, advisor and board member. As well as being Chairman of Studio 1, Marty currently is a board member of two public companies: Nexstar broadcasting group and Truli media group.
